About the Role

Senior Ecommerce Specialists at Mercantile Commerce are deeply embedded in our clients' catalogs and responsible for their presentation and performance on Amazon. You'll act as a subject matter expert across key operational areas — inbound shipping, keyword research, listing management, performance analysis, and margin optimization.

You'll manage 3–4 client accounts, partnering closely with contractors and our founding team to service those accounts and build lasting, healthy client relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Set up new items and create upload files

  • Optimize listings — including A+ content creation, copywriting, and keyword research

  • Monitor account health and resolve compliance issues

  • Coordinate inbound shipments to FBA with clear communication and a tight feedback loop on errors

  • Identify and fix the root cause of sales performance issues

  • Analyze item and account margin; recommend opportunities to optimize

  • Manage deals, forecasting inputs, and price changes

  • Collaborate with contractors on reimbursements, store audits, and listing issue resolution

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Seller Central or Vendor Central

  • Thorough knowledge of Seller Central or Vendor Central workflows

  • Solid understanding of ecommerce fundamentals: traffic, conversion, availability, and margin

  • Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and basic statistics

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent time management, research, and documentation habits

  • A quantitative mindset — you make decisions backed by data
